Quality Technician

Job Summary: Responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure products comply with quality standards.  Works with Quality Engineer to analyze and solve quality issues.


Qualifications Summary:
• Must have two to four years experience in a Quality Technician position within a manufacturing environment
• Associates degree in related technical field or equivalent experience in a Quality Technician position.
• Experience with quality systems, quality improvement techniques, technical audit, and corrective/preventive action desired. 
• Experience in developing PPAPs and FAIs preferred.
• Ability to operate CMM equipment as well as write, review, interpret and improve existing CMM programs.
• Performs First Article Inspections/Capability Studies/Gage R&R’s and completes required documentation.

 

Quality Engineer

Job Summary: Inspect and sample frequencies during all stages of in process manufacturing.  Must utilize Zeiss CMM programming knowledge.  Responsible for FMEA and PPAP documentation. Oversee, manage and direct documentation and implementation of QMS. Facilitate the ISO/IATF 16949 and other international management standards.

Qualifications Summary:

• Bachelors degree or 5+ years experience in an ISO certified manufacturing Quality position
• ASQ Certification preferred
• Expert knowledge of GD&T
• Thorough knowledge of Quality Processes and Systems
• Automotive background helpful

Machine Operator


Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining the Quality of production and the safe, efficient use of manufacturing equipment such as: CNC Single and/or Multi-Spindles screw machines; Manual and NC lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc. Required to rotate between various machines and products.

Qualifications Summary:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints, change and set broken, dull or worn tools and make offsets
• Ability to use all machine shop measuring equipment
• Working knowledge to adjust and operate CNC and other machines
• Ability to maintain specified close tolerances and fine finish requirements
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics and precision measuring equipment
• Reading comprehension and use of active listening skills
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented environment.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes

1 year of Machine Operator experience strongly preferred.

CNC Programmer

Job Summary: In addition to the responsibilities of a Machine Set Up person, a CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and editing programs from blueprints that automate machine tools by means of computer generated electronic data. Responsible for new (first run) and repeat set-ups including but not limited to; downloading programs, preparing equipment for production, installing correct tools, installing correct holders and software to safely produce Quality product at or above routed production rates on manufacturing equipment such as: Single Spindle turning centers, Multi-Spindle turning centers, Manual and NC lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc. Required to rotate between various machines and products.

Qualifications Summary:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Fully trained and skilled as a Wiscon Machine Set-Up Operator.
  • Five years of previous CNC Programmer experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of CNC machine control and programming languages acquired from experience as a CNC Programmer.
  • Extensive understanding of G and M Code programming.
  • Working knowledge of steel cutting speeds and feeds.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented environment.
  • Work occasionally requires weekend hours.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment including, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
  • May be occasional offsite travel.

Advanced Machine Operator

Job Summary:  Responsible for repeat set-ups, troubleshooting productions runs, maintaining the quality of production and the safe, efficient use of manufacturing equipment such as: CNC Single and/or Multi-Spindles turning centers; Manual and NC lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.  Required to rotate between various machines and products.

Qualifications Summary:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Three years of manufacturing environment experience, with at least one year of advanced experience and/or equivalent certified training.
  • Ability to read blueprints, change and set broken, dull or worn tools, troubleshoot complex machines and tooling, indicate tools and holders, make offsets and set-up repeat jobs.
  • Ability to use all machine shop measuring equipment including CMM.
  • Working knowledge to adjust and operate CNC and other machines.
  • Be able to read, understand, evaluate, and make proper adjust from SPC data.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork oriented environment.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
  • May be occasional offsite travel for training purposes.
